A state-of-the-art review of distribution-of-practice effects on L2 learning

چکیده
The purpose of this state-of-the-art review is to provide a general overview recent research on time distribution and second language (L2) learning with special implications for classroom settings. Several studies have been performed examine how best distribute the hours L2 practice maximize by comparing conditions that promote intensive exposure versus others in which input or instruction more widely spaced. Findings from these are relevant not only practical purposes but also theory development. This provides summary as well suggestions pedagogical practice. Additionally, it identifies areas future concerning effect learning.
